The darkroom is where the original photographic image was created and the popularity of darkroom printing has resurfaced. It is widely recognised as a form of art with many curators and established photographers. We will guide you in the processes and fundamentals of darkroom developing beginning with basic health and safety risks, the enlarger, enlarger lenses, chemicals, equipment, safelights, timers and how to develop a negative. This is a great workshop and emphasizes the joy of analogue photography. Everything is supplied on the day.
