Portraits begin with beautiful light.
Emotion in an image is the element which draws our attention and holds our gaze. Deciding what emotion you are trying to achieve is the beginning of creating your portrait. Emotion can be created by constructing your theme, planning the steps to achieve it and a lot of time and patients.
Sensitive people faced with the prospect of a camera portrait put on a face they think is the one they

This workshop will show you how to use natural light to capture emotion in your subject - indoors and out. You will learn about the strength and direction of light and how to manipulate and move the light, placing it where you want it and not where it falls naturally.
