black & white film developing
Learning how to develop your own film not only allows you to look at your images after capture, it also allows you to take control over the whole process of your image making.
We have designed this workshop to provide you with the knowledge and skills to be able to develop your own film, whether it is 35mm, 120mm roll film or large format sheet film.
Our darkroom is your magic place!
We will be working with you closely and guiding you through the fundamentals of film development. If you have a roll ready to develop, please bring that with you. If not, we will be taking images to develop.
You do not need a film camera as we have many to share.
We will show you how to handle negatives to ensure they are not damaged, how to store and care for them and how to remove dust.
